Sennheiser IE7 Appreciation Thread ~~~
Im not sure i buy the whole burn in theory but i do however feel these IEM's need to warm up. I have roughly 20 hours on these and sound really good after they warm up. When i first put them cold they sound really bad but after five or ten minutes later the sound just come alive. Im very happy...- illini

Sennheiser ie8 help
I cant imagine needing more bass then what the IE7 delivers, to each is own. The IE7 is a great IEM very rich sound they are what the 530's should have been. I like the way sit flush in the ear they dont stick out. I did find the the PFE ear guides work better the stock ones. Amazon has them for...- illini

SE530 vs. IE7 vs. IE8
I thought the IE7 and IE8's had the same driver. The IE8's have the detachable cable and bass adjustment. Other then that i was under the impression that the driver was the same. Please correct me if im wrong.- illini

ER-4P vs. PFE
The ER 4P's Have cable noise unlike any other iem not to mention they need to shoved so far down your ear canal to get good sound. There other strike is no over the ear design. And strike 3 The bass must EQ'ed in were as the PFE bass is good with out EQ. The PFE's truly have the best balance of...- illini

Phonak Audeo vs Atrio M5 detail wise
Sounds like your just not use to the true detail of these phones. I use mine with black filters and silicon tips with my iphone 3g. To be honest the sound is incredible. You will need a source or amp to really drive them. these are very detailed phones no bloated bass. Dont give up until you...- illini

q-Jays versus Shure Se530
If it were me i would stick with the Jays or get some Phonaks. The 530's are big they would become an issue for people with small ears. After wearing the phonaks for a few weeks the 530's are huge now. I would consider the phonaks.- illini
