It will still play music wether Android 10 or 12. Personally I have my music on a MicroSD. Prefer physical media over streaming. Same as I do with 4K movies.

When listening to music on my unit I use the Fiio music app, As I'm listening my unit screen with lock after some time, guess I could disable this, but when I enter my pattern to unlock, the Fiio music app closes and reboots. Is this normal?

Does the SS version demand a premium when sold on the used market?

Can Fiio music app be uninstalled? Also is the last 4 digits of the S/N the production run off the SS version?

Was wondering if anyone has this cable and how does it sound compared to Fiio Standard MMX cables. I have a FA9/M11 Plus Ltd combo I will be matching it with. Or is there another cable you recommend.

What firmware are you on? Try reinstalling it and or doing a factory reset, to see if that fixes any your problems?

Looking at picking up a set of cans to pair with my player. Looking at the Sennheiser line, either the 650($360CDN), 660s($425CDN) or should i go all out for the 800s($1200CDN if seller excepts) All are slightly used units. Everything I have read says the 650s are a steal at their price point.

I would assume since they are not making anything they would be burning through inventory. Eventually it runs out and manufacturers are using ESS chips. I got my SS version just took 2mths. :beerchug:

Received my Fiio M11 LTD SS a couple days back, and finally cracked it open today. It was a long 2mth wait from when I ordered, but well worth it. Truly is a thing of beauty. Will be pairing it with a set of Fiio FA9s. Going to miss using my Fiio X7mkii and FA7. Time to sell.
