good old CD gets a facelift: Blu-spec CD
No no, it can be read by normal red book cd players, that's the beauty of it. It's just that the master is burned by a blue laser (more precise) instead of a red, resulting in less reading errors I think. I don't know how it's supposed to affect the sound quality though.- Harry Tuttle

PS3SACD.com - the Super Audio CD resource for PlayStation3 users I wonder if it will really affect sound quality or if it will be a gimmick to re-release every album à la "remastered"- Harry Tuttle

Vintage Discman Auction Watch
^have you actually used one? I had a d-e905 and although it had a very nice, slim casing, the d-321 headphone out is much, much better and the antishock is very good without even using the esp. I paid 100$ for my d-e905 and 15$ for my d-321, but after having used the d-321, I would gladly pay...- Harry Tuttle

small freeware to edit mp3?
^yup, I'm pretty sure files have to be converted to wav to be edited. mp3directcut works like a charm if you only need to cut mp3s. I remember trying to convert aiff to wav with audacity I had to restart several times because it crashed.- Harry Tuttle

can over burnt cds really damage cdp?
I've taken the habit of burning taiyo yudens often close to the max they can fit which is 82:45 minutes, I found that on some players I have the playback will start to glitch and/or automatically stop near the end. I haven't had any problems yet but I'm wondering if I should stop overburning...- Harry Tuttle

small freeware to edit mp3?
Anybody knows of a small freeware that can edit mp3 without losing quality? I simply wanna cut a part of a long mp3 file I have and want it to stay in 320kbps- Harry Tuttle

What makes me so sad
To above posters: the thing that's pissing me off isn't that they have crappy earphones, it's that they're willing to spend hundreds of dollars on an ipod but not one on a decent pair of earphones. You'd think someone serious enough about his music to buy a 300$+ ipod would put more care into...- Harry Tuttle
