Wishful thinking I guess. They got back to me and are sending a me a replacement gimbal. Very good customer service.

I just sent them an email. Hopefully they will just replace them. 

  It looks like the metal rod has some threading, but it doesn't hold the phone onto it. Any suggestions?   I don't think they are under warranty. I bought them a little over a year ago.

My headphones just broke! the part that broke/just detached itself is the metal rod that connects the headphone to the actually headphone band. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if anyone knows how its connected so I can fix it.   Thanks!

Yeah I didn't realize how old this card was until I found the link in the op. Its working pretty great and their no bloat ware with it. I'm pretty happy.
