Unbelievable... Koss KSC-35
Has anyone tried to use their warranty to replace their old KSC35s with the current revision? Mine has one of the clips broke, the wires are long gone and the earpads are gone. Is this grounds for warranty replacement?- FloconsDeMais

The JVC HA-S500 thread.
Well, that puts a spanner in the works. With a 454g shipping weight it will be a 1500yen shipping fee plus a 490yen service fee which is ~$21.50 for a total cost of ~$55.50 which is only ~$3 cheaper than ebay.- FloconsDeMais

New sony mdr zx600, mdr v55, mdr ma100, ma300, ma900
Quote: A guy who did an unboxing video on YouTube said that they were "definitely closed back". The Japanese versions of the MA100, as seen on a Japanese unboxing video, look like the 300/600s with a grille back.- FloconsDeMais

Are those MDR-M100's even open? They look closed and circumaural but Sony's website says they're open and supra-aural.- FloconsDeMais

why do people dislike itunes?
Quote: The music you buy through the service has nothing to do with the player and most everything is available in 256kbps AAC nowadays. Much of it has been in that format for the past 2 years. You're not forced to purchase music through iTunes. I've never bought anything from them. ...- FloconsDeMais

why do people dislike itunes?
Quote: It's not an extra step. It's just a conversion setting in FLAC that sets the container to ogg. That can be easily set up in whatever ripping program you use, including Foobar. It's not for me, since I use mainly 300-400kbps AAC for my library, but if anyone wanted to use iTunes as...- FloconsDeMais

why do people dislike itunes?
What do you mean? I'm just pointing it out to counter the claim that it cannot play flac. If you save them in ogg containers when you rip it's not like it requires any extra effort.- FloconsDeMais

why do people dislike itunes?
You can play ogg files in iTunes with the Xiph plugin. You can play flac files as well if you put them in ogg containers. There used to be a plugin (mplugin) available for itunes 6/7 that would allow you to use Foobar as the playback engine but it wasn't updated for iTunes 8+.- FloconsDeMais

itunes mp3 and flac???? HELP please
Although you're better off using ALAC, you can add flac files to iTunes by wrapping them in ogg containers and installing the xiph ogg plugin. http://www.xiph.org/quicktime/download.html- FloconsDeMais
