Are there different types of burn-ins?
I have the Pro 900 and I listen to mostly to drum and bass and house. Without entering the discussion rather burn-in is real or not, I'll just tell what I experienced. The Pro 900 changed a lot in the process (maybe it was a position issue, drivers not well-aligned, etc), but I...- flavouz

Thanks for the impressions. I guess I'll check the M-100 once they're released in Europe- flavouz

V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.
Has anyone compared the M-100 to the Ultrasone Pro 900? From what I've read, the M-100 share the same sound signature as the Pro 900 (perhaps with less sharp highs?). I wonder if they would be a good portable alternative for the Pro 900 (as much as I love them, they are too big for everyday use IMO)- flavouz

Yeah, I tried that too, and had the same problem (plugging the phone to my Fiio amp). I recently got the V-moda LP2 (and I use the audio cable, with no remote control), and this one doesn't get disconnected from my phone. I don't know if the headphone jack is different, but I'm glad it...- flavouz

Quote: Please, choose Paris! I didn't pre-order the M100 mostly due to shipping costs and import taxes. Can't wait to find them here. And I'd also love to buy some custom shields for my LP2!- flavouz

Any ideas on how to fix that? It's rather annoying. And a shame, because I really like this mobile phone.- flavouz

Review by 'flavouz' on item 'V-MODA LP2'
Just got these headphones a couple of hours ago, and I'm writing this while listening to them out-of-the-box and unamped. And since this is my first review, I hope you'll find it useful. And I'm trying to focus on the musical aspect, not really technical, especially because I'm not really...- flavouz

New to classical music, Headphone advice please
I like the DT-660.. very detailed and clear. There's a review of them for classical music here. The only thing I don't like in these cans is the weight... it's heavy, and due to a very light clamping force, it gets uncomfortable after a couple of hours (you can feel it on top of your...- flavouz

The Portable BASS kings..The Pioneer HDJ500 vs AKG 518 LE vs The first look at the new AT WS55 Solid Bass
Hey Dsnuts, how would you compare the sound of the Pioneers to the Crossfade LP2? I haven't tested them, but I liked how you compared the sound of the Pioneers to the "club sound". I'm looking for a portable alternative to my Ultrasone Pro 900 (good bass, while still hearing details, etc)...- flavouz

Sennheiser hd 380 pro vs hd 439
I've never tried these headphones, but the AKG K518DJ and Audio Technica SJ55 are good budget headphones IMO (they're both around 50 EUR, less than the HD 439, which goes for 89 EUR), though I'd say HD 439 would win comfort-wise (I had the HD 428 and 448, and both were very comfortable).- flavouz

Quote: Do you have any problem with the headphone jack on your Xperia S? I get lots of disconnections while walking (I keep my phone in my pants' front pocket). It's not that the headphone gets totally disconnected from the jack, but just a couple of milimeters, enough to make...- flavouz

Upgrading from ATH-ES7 to ES10. Is it worth it?
I really like the Pro 900. I listen mainly to drum and bass and other bass-heavy genres, and the Pro 900 is perfect for that. It's also quite clear and the vocals are a bit laidback, but it sounds natural to my ears. I think they're worth the price tag but they're not really portable (they...- flavouz

The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?
Is there any comparison between the HTF600 and the Superlux HD 660? I've tried the Superlux and found the sound really good for a 38 euros headphone. I was wondering how the HTF600 would sound compared to it.- flavouz
