Hi everyone! Would anyone be willing to compare the Audio Technica AD900x to the Audio Technica CKN70? Especially in terms of price/performance, which is better?  I know comparing IEMs to full-sized headphones may seem unfair, but I would like to see how much the CKN70s punch above their price...

Has anyone ever damaged their phones/iems during breakin? I've done lots of reading here and don't remember coming across anything as such but just checking as I'm "melting" the drivers as Dsnuts has said. I've got em cranked up pretty good.   EE

Ya I'm finding the treble high as well on the CKN70's (S500 seem fine though), however I've read enough here to know to not get too excited over it until they've been roasted n toasted.I also wouldn't comment on brightness until I've heard them on tubes even though I realize this isn't how they...

  A little bit late to the party but look what the cat dragged in. Upon opening the box I thought " @#$@ these little CKN70's are tiny, there's nothing to them, they're double the price of the S500's and I don't need portables at the moment so maybe I'll leave em boxed and sell em to my buddy"...

has anyone used the included mic for skyping? I might be able to talk my wife into these if she can also use them to skype. Just ordered the s500's & CKN70's (meanwhile saving up for AD900x) but these WS99 sound fun. Maybe I'll sell one of the other two (not sure which one) and get these WS99...

Just pulled the trigger on the S500's & CKN70's. Next will be the AD900X. It turned out to be a pain in the ass cuz my card got blocked. I should have called Visa first and let them know. Then I started getting these translated emails from Amazon Japan that read like a dyslexic drunk wrote them...

Just checked out some prices on Kakaku, looks cheaper than amazon.jp. Anyone gone this route with Tenso Forwarding? At those prices I thought I might get the JVC HA-S500 and the ATH CKN70 in ears for stealth phones.
