etymotic 6i dead, what should I buy?

When I say dead, I mean one headphone is about 10 times louder than the other one. At first I thought there was something wonky with the source, but no, it really was the headphones. I'm hoping for advice about what to replace them with. I listen to predominately electronic music...

    Specific Wireless needs

The last time I asked this someone mentioned the Widio device. My only problem with it is the annoying fact that I would have to unplug it from my stereo and 'dock it' after about every 4 hours of use. Search Newegg for widio to see what I'm talking about.

    Specific Wireless needs

Hi there, I currently have the following setup: Computer --> U.S. Robotics 900 MHz transmitter --> USR 900 MHz receiver --> Stereo amp. I would like to replace this with something that has better sound and is less flaky. Anyone know of a product which will do this? Notice - I am NOT...

    Archos, Compact flash, and convergence

Once upon a time, I bought a Gmini 220 because I thought it would be nice to have a device that I could quickly dump photos to on the go. I returned it after a week because it couldn't read my CF cards. Out of amusement, I have followed the anguish of Gmini users and Archos firmware...

Sending music wirelessly from computer to stereo

I just found this. There are various claims made here and at the product website, found here, such as: "Digital Audio Transmission at full CD Quality" "By transmitting the audio in a digital format, the 2.4 GHz Digital Wireless Audio Transmitter / Receiver from Amphony allow you to...

Sending music wirelessly from computer to stereo

I have an old(ish) U.S. Robotics device that transmits arbitrary audio out from my computer to my stereo. Unfortunately, it is an analogue 900 MHz signal that carries the sound, so there is significant loss of quality along the way. I have had a few frustrating conversations with Best Buy and...

    Airtunes hack?

I contacted apple, and they told me that Airtunes could only be used from within iTunes. I would buy this product if it could broadcast arbitrary audio output digitally from my computer to my stereo over 802.11. Right now I am using the U.S. Robotics 900 MHz analogue system, and needless to...

    iHP-120 in the car

I have an AIWA X504MP in my car that I'm using to run my ihp-120 through the front panel AUX. Some thoughts: -using the (not truly) line out at full volume sounds amazing to my humble ears -the line out is punchier than the headphone out, so there is some difference going on there...
