Hi there,

I currently have the following setup:

Computer --> U.S. Robotics 900 MHz transmitter --> USR 900 MHz receiver --> Stereo amp.

I would like to replace this with something that has better sound and is less flaky.

Anyone know of a product which will do this? Notice - I am NOT looking for a product which lets you stream wirelessly through some kind of proprietary software. I want to be able to move the output of my soundcard in real time, regardless of what is making that output, to the next room.

I appreciate any suggestions!

alternatively, get a little PC and run that experimental Plan 9 OS which does the funky device-redirection-over-network stuff. heh.

The last time I asked this someone mentioned the Widio device. My only problem with it is the annoying fact that I would have to unplug it from my stereo and 'dock it' after about every 4 hours of use.
