This sir is correct. When I was at the 1964 Ears office yesterday I overheard this to be true. Even the graphic charts resembled the same. The A-10 will be close to V6 and the A-12 will be somewhere between v6s and v8. I hope that the A-12 will retain the punch of the V8 and make the clarity...

I was able to demo the ADEL membranes courtesy of Stephen in Portland, OR. Here is the first thing that caught my attention, I pushed the headphones deep into my ears while listening, the sound didn't change. It's almost like the pressure equalizes and doesn't change the sound as you press...

just because over the ear cans are over the ear doesn't mean they can't put out enough juice to create pneumatic pressures. Most over the ear cans still have some seal to them and they are usually more powerful than in ear. I noticed everyone uses over the ear cans to record vocal. If this ADEL...

Your right, but knowing Vitaliy, 1964 is his life and I don't think he would do anything to jeopardize it for a quick buck or a gimmick. Thats just my opinion, of course everyone has their own. This "hot rosy colored air" is called Sonic Bliss! lol

If A-10, A-12 is almost $2000 and its a (V-10,V-12 with ADEL) Then why would V6s and V8 sound worse with ADEL? If you read Vitaliys comments in the other forum he touted that the A customs have great sound improvement because of ADEL. I just don't get how ADEL would keep the v8 the same or worse...

Gentlemen lets not forget that the U-series has adel. It WILL sound better than the current V-series.

Expect the refresh of the rest of the v-series be "more expensive" maybe they got tired of Steve Guetenburg always reviewing their products as "more affordable" lol it's time the price reflects the products. Makes JH and UE seem not too far away with that kind of price.

That pretty much covers it, If the port is closed the membrane is in effective. Port open all the way lots of ambient with membrane working. close just enough to keep membrane working, Sweet spot.

The U-Series will also be 4 bore, its a universal version of the A-Series essentially. A-Series is V-Series with Adel. (if there were V-10 V-12. Adel beat them to the punch) Therefore all must be 4 bore. its logical :)

I think you guys are getting confused, you can acoustically close the port without restricting pneumatic pressure. Like a silencer on a gun I suppose. Thats what vitaliy was telling me about the "sweet spot." yeah if you open the port all the way you have ambience. if you close it just enough to...

I will have to agree with Ivabign, this technology isn't about changing sound signature, its about creating a wider sound stage, crisper highs, defined lows and changing the way the sound is coupling to the ear drum. This is a whole new way of thinking how audio is transferred from speaker to...

I would have to speculate that the U and A series are designed by 1964 and the Control and Ambient are most likely ASIUS products since they are collaborating on this venture. So I would say the Ambient 12 is probably more consumer than "pro."

I was talking about the news paper published in 1965 with the headline "Stephen Ambrose -Inventor of the Wireless In Ear Monitor." Thats going to be hard to discredit.

Stephen Ambrose invented the first In ear monitor, 1964 Ears make some of the best IEM's in the world, I doubt that a company like this would put their entire reputation on the line for a gimmick. I personally spoke to Vitaliy at 1964, from what he said is there is a sweet spot (open vent/...
