Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I've had my Jabra 65T since they came out from Best Buy way back in February / March. I've worn them 6 days a week for my 5-6 mile jog. Only issue I ever had was on very humid mornings, my left ear sweats and the left ear piece gets slippery and tends inadvertently to pop out of my ear. As a...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I was getting a freeze after shutting down Bluetooth. But since today's app update, that issue is gone. I really like the new changes to the app. There are different levels of the hear-through now. I can have a setting for undisturbed & another for driving.

I really appreciate the "hear- through" option. You can do a quick double tap on the right earbud and have a conversation without having to remove them. Another great feature is the apps call experience. You can adjust how much of your voice you hear doing a phone call. Plus there's almost a...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I've owned the Jabra 65T for close to 3 weeks now. Worn them during my daily 5-7 walk/ jog as well as while riding on public transportation buses. There hasn't been a single drop off of the Bluetooth signal. I don't miss the tether from wires during my jogs at all. During a pretty sweaty 7...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I also bought the Elite 65T on Saturday.... Spent most of the weekend getting acclimated to the controls and testing the Bluetooth signal. While I haven't been a fan of silicon tips in the past; these are really comfortable. Music quality is actually very good. All my music on my phone is...

    Pioneer SE-CH9T - Premium In-Ear Headphones

My decades old Westone Um2's were awesome in those environments. My search is for something less expensive to replace them.

    Pioneer SE-CH9T - Premium In-Ear Headphones

As I indicated previously, these IEM's have great comfort and fit... Isolation is great indoors. But I found the isolation to be very weak while riding in public transit such as Buses & Subway. If you get the right fit, they might be okay for gym work. I tried several different type of...

Additions to reviews for IEM, Earbuds

The is not meant to be a snipe at anyone. Just a humble recommendation Too many of the IEM's or Earbuds that I've tried over the years sound good to great in controlled indoor conditions like a music room, living room or "Cube Farm" office environment. But they fail miserably in real world...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I'm interested in the Jabra Elite 65T... The battery life is good, they're smaller than most.... The Bose are absolute junk in the real world... They have almost zero isolation, that mass sticking out your ear is not only ugly, they are monster wind noise problems. Anyone have any "real world"...

    Pioneer SE-CH9T - Premium In-Ear Headphones

I've had mine for a few weeks now and I've had a chance to break them in... I typically wear medium comply foam tips, but with these Pioneer's I needed smalls. Overall, I like them & their comfort rivals my Westone UM2. I'm not sure that I could sleep with them due to the fact that the IEM's...

    FiiO F9, F9Pro-Detachable MMCX connector,Hi-Res Audio Certified,2.5mm TRRS/3.5mm audio cable

I bought these in the hope that they'd be a less expensive option for my dying beloved Westone UM2's. I really dislike the memory wire. So upon receipt of the F9's, I swapped out the cable with the Westone epic cable. Unfortunately, the right connector wouldn't stay connected. . I couldn't...

    Pioneer SE-CH9T - Premium In-Ear Headphones

I just purchased these from Amazon. My hope is that they'll be a great fit and replacement for my beloved um2 IEMs. I just can't afford to pay the cost of new Westone Um2's.
