Re-gluing tube bases
Good point, I doubt they spent the time or money to engineer the materials to have similar coefficients of expansions.- diskostu

Re-gluing tube bases
I have a few tubes with loose bases. From what I have found, most people use superglue. Does anyone have any experience with superglue? I also found a product for this specific problem, 2A3-Mesh Datasheet. Emission Labs. Has anyone use this?- diskostu

Questions for Singlepower Extreme Owners
I read that people were considering an ecc2 adapter for the extreme. Did anyone get it and how does it sound with 6DJ8/6922? -David- diskostu

Questions for Singlepower Extreme Owners
I guess I haven't owned a tube amp that can heat up a room . My only other experience with tubes is my Woo3. Since the tubes buzz when the amp is warming up, I'm sure it's tube warm-up. Thanks for all the replies.- diskostu

Questions for Singlepower Extreme Owners
I just got the stock Extreme and I have a several questions about it. I'm using a pair of Tung-Sol 5998 and a Sylvania 6SN7 GT. How much heat is it suppose put out? My Woo3 gets warm with the WE 421A and Phillips E88CC's but the Extreme is quite a bit warmer. During startup do you experience...- diskostu

Woo6 versus PPX3
I'm intrigued by the GE 6DJ8 grey glass because of jamato8's recommendation. I noticed there is also a "clear" glass version. Are there sonic differences between the two?- diskostu

Mixing Lead Solder with Lead Free Solder
Is it ok to mix lead solder with lead free solder? I want to do some soldering on a PCB that was soldered with lead free solder but all I have is lead solder. Thanks- diskostu

NAD C 521BEE Remote Problems
Herandu, Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give them a try as soon as I have time. It's good to know it could be the remote and it's not me going crazy. -David PS: I originally thought it was the batteries but new batteries didn't help the situation.- diskostu
