    DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***

    I'm looking forward to an answer on this question too. I hope Paul will ask technicians about battery life considering constant charging.

    DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***

    I wonder if ibasso intends to create a balanced XLR cable for balanced amps. Like the one that thebit has done. If i understand correctly they use 3.5mm (unbalanced+lineout combined) as a ground. I suppose such cable could be a great option for audiophiles interested in almost full time usage of...

    DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***

    I wish someone could compare plain DX80 with DX200 in order to determine if the upgrade is really substantial. For instance, what about overall sounds density/sturdiness and quantity of mid/upper bass range? Does DX200 make dynamic music, like EDM n trip-hop, perceived in the right expressive...

    Indeed. But i think it's also about light refraction. I dont like the fact that its leather case is brown. I'd prefer the common color... Much more suitable.

      Click ME   HE-6 - 83.5dB (so they need about 1500 mw at 50ohm) HD800s - 102dB (20mw at 300ohm) HD650 - 103dB (16mw at 300ohm)

    It will for sure, but my point is: or ibasso makes just one version (as they declared dx200 with 64gb and 1 uSD slot), or they present all versions at once at the very beginning of its realization for people to choose the right one from the start and not to 'read fortune' will they offer bigger...

    Ofc all of you talking about 512/256gb of internal storage in a 'later dx200 'pro' version' dont consider how ibasso would be judged by those who bought 'standard' 64gb version earlier. Do you want to see how 'poor simpletons' riding in the 'hype train' will provide primary ROI to iBasso...

      We all will forgive this unpleasantness to them, when we'll be sure that dx200 destroys its competitors in terms of SQ and overall usability.

    iBasso DX80 . . impressions and reviews. . and discussion NEW FW: 1.6.0 ** link . . 1st page . . .

    DX80 is almost dead silent with my ue900 which are 30ohm. It only hisses when i change volume. As far as i know shure 846 are 9ohm. DX80 has <0.1ohm output impendance, which means that it theoretically produces zero hiss with all iems. My first DX80 produced much louder hiss noise, than my...

    I've compared with Asus Xonar ST/STX stock and internal Jotunheim's DAC. Yep, both are cheap entry level DACs. In comparison Xonar has inanimate in-your-face sound with narrower SS, bloated wide less-controlled mid-upper bass (sub-bass punches equally) and not so sharp transients. Sound is not...

    I agree with everything, but i find DX80's bass via line out exaggerated a bit but not bloated at all. Its very nice controlled, thick, perfect quantity of mid-upper bass for dance/dynamic music, so it makes it to sound full of energy/assertiveness. Maybe you've considered it bloated because of...

    Beyerdynamic DT-1770: Product Info, Discussion and Impressions

    IMHO, DT-1770 - upgraded MSR7 in terms of ALL qualities and completely worth of additional $. a990z is a little better than MSR7, but usable only at home (MSR7 obviously suits for portable use). DT1770 doesnt have lot more bass quantity, its just better contolled and more holistic. Mids of 1770s...

    I've A/B them and my conclusions are (Cayin compared to DX80): 1) More airy sound 2) Recessed low freqs 3) Less dynamic 4) Less analitycal 5) Better mids - they sign very nice 6) Better musicality  7) Highs have softer reverberations Overall DX80 has more in your face, dynamic, forceful...

    Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone

    So, do u still use dt1770 or did u forget them like a bad dream with all its plastic resonances after purchasing the 1990?  Lots of reviews about 1990's overall superiority over 1770. I feel deceived by Beyers  . A lil bit...
