I hate the new headset controls. It's near impossible to find the buttons without looking (which is awkward to do when it is so close to your face).

That was me and yes. They suck. I gave them away. I have just received the P3's and am testing them as I type. The mids are a little disconcerting but perhaps that is due to the V shape of the P2's that I was used to. The biggest annoyance is the location of the mic/controller. Way too close to...

Any alternatives? If the E12 did not make any noise when connected via USB to a PC I would use that but I am put off by that possibility.

Why is there no desktop equivalent (so I can plug into USB) without any annoying noise? I want the crosstalk/bass boost features etc and a balanced volume control with no noise whilst being powered. I don't need any battery nonsense.

Has anyone got an FR of the champagne filters? I currently have some Xiaomi Piston v2's but I find they have too much bass for my tastes. I'm curious to know if these are better overall.

  Yeah my tinnitus is in my left ear mainly and it's the left ear that gives me the most trouble with distorted sound. If you have tinnitus it's hearing damage regardless of what the ENT graphs say. Basically it's efferent noise caused by hair like structures in the inner ear being flattened...

  Do you get this on any other headphones? If so then you may have some hearing damage or just general loss of hearing in the upper frequencies (age?). I have damaged hearing myself (also constant tinnitus) and I find high frequencies tend to sound grainy/fizzy/sibilant. and mids can be painful...
