I love the forward mid-range and spacious presentation on these. Are there any new headphones (IEM or full) that have a similar sound signature to these?

Interesting... I've never seen legit IE7s even close to this price, but if it's Best Buy, they're the real deal. But it looks like in-store only and I can't find any stores that have it in stock.

I have the IE7s and recently got the X10s from the Amazon deal. To me, the IE7s do just about everything (soundwise) better than the X10s. Their base quantity and quality is comparable, but the IE7s have MUCH better mids. The IE7s are very detailed, yet they are still warm and easy to listen to...

I agree that parts of the S4's treble are emphasized, but when I think of bright IEMs, I think of something with more of an Ety sound signature. For me, the S4's were very warm with the bass being more troublesome than the treble.   IMO, they sound great on some songs, but empty and lifeless...
