Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones
I took apart the M560 to have a look inside and also for anyone else that was curious. Apologies in advance for the potato quality. I think the driver looks quite similar to the T50RP, from the outside at least.- cerb998

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones
When the original pads on my M560s wore out I just cut the stock plates out of them and put brainwavz lambskin oval pads on. The standard plates fit snugly into the brainwavz and hold the pads well. I also tried brainwavz velour which are my favourites for comfort but the loss of bass was too much.- cerb998

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones
Got my M560s a couple of hours ago and have been listening to a few songs and tried some gaming. I was a bit worried with comments about the lack of bass but for me these have enough. They have a bit more bass than my Sony MDR 100AAP but they don't vibrate on my ears like my V-Moda Crossfade...- cerb998

DarkVoice 336SE interference and tube rolling
Try connecting the amp to another source to see if you get the same noise. Maybe try with your phone.- cerb998

What do you think of the cloned G-Cush in terms of comfort and sound? I've been wanting to try some Grados but the price of the authentic G-Cush is putting me off.- cerb998

Need earpads for Sony MDR 100AAP (UK)
I ended up getting the brainwavz velour ear pads. These are a lot bigger than the original 100aap pads. The frames that hold the pad to the headphone have a bit of wobble room inside the pads, and the back of the pads was covering the clips on the frames. I trimmed about 3mm of pleather all...- cerb998

Need earpads for Sony MDR 100AAP (UK)
I've only had my 100AAP for about 3 months and the earpads are still in good condition but I think the padding has softened up a bit (was quite soft to begin with). When I wear them now my ears are slightly pressed and get sore after an hour or so, whereas before they didn't touch the inside of...- cerb998

Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R
Hey guys, I've been looking for some comfortable headphones and I had high hopes for the MDR-1A, but I read a couple of posts saying that the pads might cover some part of your ears. Are there any replacement pads that can fix this, particularly velour ones?- cerb998
