I just listened to the new album and while it is good and I do like it, I was pretty disappointed. I was expecting something more along the lines of The Great Cold Distance, but it's much more mellow than that. That said, it's still a pretty good album. Maybe it will grow on me with a few more...

Soilwork - Stabbing The Drama album Scar Symmetry - Any album, but their older stuff is more harsh than it is melodic vocally. Holographic Universe and Dark Matter Dimensions are more clean vocally.

I figured I wouldn't get much for $100, but that's really all I care to spare for audio stuff at the moment unless someone can convince me otherwise. So you suggest a portable solution? Pardon my ignorance, but what's the difference between a portable amp and a desktop amp other than obviously...

I just received the left over money from my pell grant and figured maybe I could put a little bit of it towards a headphone amp. I use Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80ohm straight into my Macbook Pro at the moment. Would my DT770's really benefit from an amp? Are they even worth amping? Will an amp...

Not the most iconic or famous, but pretty important and I think will be more iconic and famous in the future.

I don't think so. I do think they could/should have replaced Lars though. I'm not a fan of his drumming at all.

Less is more with Autotune IMO. The way T-Pain used it was at first really cool, but now it's really played out. I'm all for artists using it to correct their voices in real time during a concert though.
