Katatonia - "Night Is the New Day" (For fans of Porcupine Tree, The Cure & Opeth)
I just listened to the new album and while it is good and I do like it, I was pretty disappointed. I was expecting something more along the lines of The Great Cold Distance, but it's much more mellow than that. That said, it's still a pretty good album. Maybe it will grow on me with a few more... -
Metal with alternating clean and scream vocals?
Soilwork - Stabbing The Drama album Scar Symmetry - Any album, but their older stuff is more harsh than it is melodic vocally. Holographic Universe and Dark Matter Dimensions are more clean vocally. -
Budget amp for DT770 Pro?
I figured I wouldn't get much for $100, but that's really all I care to spare for audio stuff at the moment unless someone can convince me otherwise. So you suggest a portable solution? Pardon my ignorance, but what's the difference between a portable amp and a desktop amp other than obviously...- cdailey

Budget amp for DT770 Pro?
I just received the left over money from my pell grant and figured maybe I could put a little bit of it towards a headphone amp. I use Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80ohm straight into my Macbook Pro at the moment. Would my DT770's really benefit from an amp? Are they even worth amping? Will an amp...- cdailey

The most famous / iconic Cover Art Ever?
Not the most iconic or famous, but pretty important and I think will be more iconic and famous in the future. -

Would Metallica have been a better band with John Bush as a lead singer?
I don't think so. I do think they could/should have replaced Lars though. I'm not a fan of his drumming at all. -

Less is more with Autotune IMO. The way T-Pain used it was at first really cool, but now it's really played out. I'm all for artists using it to correct their voices in real time during a concert though. -
Albums with exceptional drumming?
Meshuggah for sure. For crazy example, see their song "Bleed."
