I bought some 1A 250V 5x20 Slow-blow ceramic fuses on the giant shopping site and have only blown one so far. I would still argue that these units seem to be operating too close the where the fuses blow and that would (arguably) be a design flaw, but fuses are cheap and they don't seem to be...

The most recent time a fuse blew was when I left the PL50 on after turning off the R7. It was on for some days before I realized it had blown.

So it looks like there has been a redesign (at least on the outside). I have blown fuses two more times on the previous version and the obvious question is whether there was a design flaw in the version I have. Could Fiio comment on this?

I can report that changing fuse solved my problem at least for now. Thanks.

Mine from April has the same issue. No power on turn on yesterday. Got a couple fuses and the first one blew almost immediately. I sent an email to support but haven’t heard anything yet. Surprising on an essentially new unit.

I only skimmed the seven pages of comments but does anyone have a comment on the sound out of the headphone jack? This seems like it would be a great standalone streamer/headphone amp for a listening station. Thanks for any thoughts.

There still seems to be a different standard for headphones versus many other items. If you bought a pair of shoes and wore them for 30 days and then decided to return them, would they take them back? If the flavor of something wasn't quite what you expected, would you think you could return...

Lots of us still have them and enjoy them. There seems to be a subset of the headphone lovers that buy and try every one that comes out and then return them. Makes me wonder what happens to all the used ones. Kind of like returning underwear to me...

Same old story MichaelSD. For a lot of us in the real world for travel and office use, they work great. Bringing up wired headphones is a red herring. What’s the point of your post besides slagging them one more time?

Yes. All different opinions. What I don’t get is why you seem hell-bent on trying to convince everyone that your opinion is the right opinion.

Sadly it doesn't seem to be about the Beats3 any more. Maybe time to start a new one. I'd love to hear more from people that have them and are getting the best out of them.
