Thank you, I think I will just get. Power won't be an issue, and i'm not looking for it to give me the best sound quality, just something to take with me in my bag for when I need it.

So if it should drive the he500, it should run the 400s a little better? I really want a nice affordable amp for when I'm not home.

I really like the look of the 600s, they look clean and comfortable.

Really interested in getting these, I've never had a good set of IEMs before. 

I really want to these, a little scared I may not like them. Always wanted the 900s but price kept me away.

I've had both and I ended up keeping my, Sony's. They are a lot more comfortable to me then the Momentums were. Sound wise I enjoy the MDR-1R over the Momentums. The Momentums did come with a better case, but it is a little big. I enjoyed the Momentums, just not as much as I enjoys the MDR-1R.

I was going back and forth with the 1R's, or the Momentum's, and I decided on the 1R's. I find them to be a lot more comfortable over the Momentums, and to my ears I like the sound of the 1R's over the momentum's. I can listen to the 1R's for hours with no fatigue in sound, or comfort. 

I just ordered these yesterday, I'm excited to get them. I got them for use while at work. I wish there was more reviews/info on these. I hope they are great portable phones. I will update when I get some time with them, and get them burned in.

I bought some Audio Technica ESW9 and I like them, they sound great but they really clamp my head, and I can't wear them for very long. So I have been thinking of taking them back to best buy and getting the UE 6000. What I'm wondering is if they sound as good or better then the ESW9s, if they...

For me my list is, 1. Sony MDR 1R 2. AKG Q701 3. Sennheiser HD 598 4. Audio Technica ESW9 I run these off my iPad with a Schiit Magni when at home, and work I just use iPod nano and the Sony's.

The Momentums don't use real leather either. Sennheiser I thought doesn't use leather on their products?? I could be wrong though. I just got the MDR-1R and I'm really liking them a lot. Build quality is really good on them, I'm still burning them in (using pink noise) but they sound great to...

I just picked up the HD558 and they are an excellent set of headphones. I am really liking the way they sound for music, and movies. I haven't used them for gaming yet.

Thanks for your responses, I just went ahead and ordered the 598s. They have to be a big improvement over my gifted to me Beats Studios.
