Where's the cheapest trustworthy place to buy Shure earphones?
I'm looking to buy a pair of SE530's. I've heard of people getting them for as low as $350. I'd like to stay away from sites like eBay because I'm afraid of receiving a counterfeit product. headphone.com doesn't come anywhere near the deals I've heard most people here getting.- Bunninator

IEMs to compensate for iPod sound
iPod is not what you use for sound quality. Neither is the EX71. iPods consistently have the worst SQ of all their major competitors.- Bunninator

Sharing your IEMS: A germaphobe nightmare
That would be far to expensive and really... it doesn't happen THAT often. I WANT to be able to share the awesomeness of high end IEMs with people who don't know any better than the stock apple earphones. I just can't bring myself to do it without being severely grossed the heck out!- Bunninator

Sharing your IEMS: A germaphobe nightmare
I've often found myself in situations where I tell people how awesome my IEMS are... and somewhere along the line the price gets mentioned. Needless to say the person automatically takes the stance of "There's no way they can be worth that much." (see: are people freaked out when they find out...- Bunninator

Shure earphones and the awesome amazing nozzle barb.
The SCL4 Shures do have a barb on them. I got off the phone with a rep from Shure earlier today and apparently the set I'm going to be receiving DOES have a barb. To me, this is awesome news. I love the barb. The barb is my friend. The barb keeps the silicone sleeves from getting stuck...- Bunninator

Switching over from Shure to Ultimate-Ears: what to buy?
I've pretty much had it with Shure so I've decided it's time to go with something else. I hear people talking abuyt Ultimate-Ears super.fi series but I'm not sure what exactly to go with. I'm looking to upgrade from my E3 series earphone to something that sounds better. I've my eyes set on...- Bunninator

How to listen objectively? Like an audiophile?
I'm sure I'm not the only one here who doesn't quite understand the hi-fi nut speak. When someone says rolled off highs lows mids etc. I'm not sure what the hell they're talking about. I know what high mids and lows are but rolled off? What? At any rate I'd like to LEARN to listen...- Bunninator

Shure earphones and the awesome amazing nozzle barb.
Does the E4 have a barb? I had an E3g that had one and an E3 that didn't. The E3 that didn't have one would sometimes lose the flex sleeve in my ear. :/ I've get a lot more time out of a flex sleeve with a barb than without. The barb is the greatest. But yah, does E4 series Shure have a...- Bunninator
