I've pretty much had it with Shure so I've decided it's time to go with something else. I hear people talking abuyt Ultimate-Ears super.fi series but I'm not sure what exactly to go with.

I'm looking to upgrade from my E3 series earphone to something that sounds better. I've my eyes set on the UE Super.fi 5Pro but am not sure if this would even be a real upgrade?

How are the UE as far as comfort and isolation? How do the UE earphones compare to the Shures?

What are you looking for in terms of sound?

I upgraded from the E3's myself to the UE 5pros and they are better in almost every possible way. The only cons are that the fit is slightly different and that they are significantly heavier/larger. I got a hang of the fit within a day and with foamies the seal is just as good or better. The biggest improvement you will see is in the bass department.
