Wondering about basshead earphones
My dad got the Beats Tour headphones for around $50 on Ebay for my brother, but he hasn't showed them to him yet. I'm thinking I'll have him sell the Tours for, like, $100 and then he can turn around and buy some good earphones. How would you compare Tour Beats to, say, the UE350's?- Boosh96

Wondering about RE-400's
Now, here's a stupid question-how would you compare the RE-400 to Bose's in-ear headphones or even their noise-cancelling circumaural 'phones? Like, in terms of sound signature, soundstage, and the overall quality of the music? I'm asking because I'm really used to Bose headphones-the in ear...- Boosh96

Ultimate Ears?
Would you say the UE600's are good entry-level audiophile earphones? How might you compare them to Bose's or Grado's earphones?- Boosh96

Bose QC15 comparisons?
Alright, so the current pair of cans I own are Bose's QC15 cans, for those of you who don't already know, and basically I'm in pursuit of something bigger and better that also costs less. I'm considering Grado's SR60i or maybe Sennheiser's HD518 or 558. I'm going to try and test any pair of...- Boosh96

Ultimate Ears?
I'm looking for reasonably priced entry-level audiophile earphones, and in that search I've stumbled upon the brand Ultimate Ears. Are UE earphones good for listening to classic rock? Are they even that good? I'm asking that because, while they make it seem like they have great earphones...- Boosh96

Audiophile buds?
I like a strong, clean bass response with good mids and highs. I also want the vocals to sound clear and natural. I'm sorry if this doesn't give you much of a good description, but I'm not really good with, like, audiophile vocabulary and stuff.- Boosh96

Audiophile buds?
Now I'm thinking I should purchase a pair of audiophile earphones for on-the-go listening, possibly in addition to a pair of cans. I'm looking for audiophile buds that cost $150 or less, have good noise isolation, and are good for listening to classic rock. Any suggestions would be great!- Boosh96

Lookin' at V-Moda
I've been looking at headphones on Amazon, and now I'm considering getting a pair of V-Moda Crossfade LP's or M-100's. Is either model friendly towards rock music? It seems to me that these are the way to go instead of the Sennheiser HD 558's, considering the audiophile/live performance tag PLUS...- Boosh96

Galaxy SIII + portable amp?
I just did some reading up on this, and I guess my QC15's, being noise-cancelling cans, already have a built-in amp. And that means an external amp would have little, if any, effect on how they sound.- Boosh96

Galaxy SIII + portable amp?
I must admit, I still don't have much of a clue how all this audiophile stuff works, so here's a question for all of you. I'm thinking about getting a FiiO E6 Fujiyama or E11 Kilimanjaro amp, and I was wondering if either one would work with a mobile device-in my case, the Samsung Galaxy SIII...- Boosh96

New here, interested in new headphones and stuff.
Hi, my name's Brett and I'm 16. I don't consider myself an audiophile or anything, but I'm kind of interested in getting some audiophile headphones. I've had a pair of Bose QuietComfort 15 headphones for around the past year, and they sound about ten times as good as they used to now that I've...- Boosh96
