Glad to see you guys keeping with 4.4mm!

Lovely to see a A&K product get a 4.4mm jack! Hope all newer devices get it too. Is the 4.4mm ground pin connected? Can it be used as a line-out without needing a splitter to the 3.5mm jack for ground (like the 2.5mm does)?

2021-04-06 update: After unboxing to compare with a recent acquisition, I have noticed a small crack in the rear plastic panel. The panel is still solid however and doesn't flex despite this. Unsure how long it has been there for. As such dropping the price a bit further.

Can we bring back the vegan microsuede pads please. Egg protein leather just isn't the same.

Two brothers, together at last.

Decided to preorder the Zenith at £250... still undecided if I really want em, but I've got a bit over a month to decide...also still undecided if I'm going to trade in the original R1's for the £100.00 back.

the Opus#2 is an absolutely amazing player and punches well above it's asking price. Software leaves a bit to be desired for me however!

For anyone who's tried the IER-Z1R (even only briefly), how do they compare to their over-ear namesake, the MDR-Z1R?

These look funky! Wonder how they compare to their over-ear namesake MDR-Z1R. Wonder if they're gonna keep its sound signature or go for something different.

To everyone with IMR R1s: If you had to recommend a full size headphone that had the same lovely, detailed, thumpy mid and sub-bass of the IMR R1, and the same sound signature with either the black or blue filters, what would you recommend? No price limits. Open or closed. Just has to be over-ear.
