Looking for ~$150 IEM's. Suggestions?
Finally got these from musicaacoustics. I'll give it a couple of days, but I don't like these at all. * Not a lot of bass, so rap / latin music don't sound good, which were more important than R&B / Jazz sounding good (bass is important for R&B for me me too, and I hardly listen to...- blazin_it_alwyz

Looking for ~$150 IEM's. Suggestions?
I pulled the trigger and bought the DB-02 from MusicaAcoustics.com: was this a good place to buy it from? In any case, I appreciate all the helpful suggestions! -
Looking for ~$150 IEM's. Suggestions?
I've previously owned Atrio M5 (loved them but it's been a couple of years since I heard them), and Monster Turbines (not as good but for 60, more than half the price, decent sound). I'm looking for new IEM's since my others broke. I was thinking of either repurchasing the Atrio M5's...- blazin_it_alwyz

ONCE AND FOR ALL. Is the iMod the definitive DAP for audiophiles?
Very interesting, very differing view points all around. I had previously come to the conclusion reading threads, that portability wouldn't be that big of a deal with the Xin Super Micro IV amp (although I will be waiting a while for it). I keep hearing these amps are superb, except for a couple...- blazin_it_alwyz

First amp - starting small and portable
From what I have been hearing RaySamuels Tomahawk or Hornet. I personally just ordered a Xin SuperMicroIV. One of the best. The only problem is that this guy takes forever to ship these things. I'm going to be waiting like 3 months to get this thing. But the Ray Samuels ones are your...- blazin_it_alwyz

YoTank Imod case almost here
@Captain Ødegård We all are entitled to our own opinions, this is true. But we are ALL also human beings, and while you can say what you want, people (including me and you) don't appreciate you calling them stupid, no matter what the case is (no pun intended) . Also just because...- blazin_it_alwyz

Newbie has questions on portable/DT rig w/ Red Wine iMod as source
the Atrio M5's from road dogg can be bought for exactly 130.00, no higher, no less. Go to his store, find the pair, and then when you are at the product's page, click Make an Offer. Be sure not to put anything like 129.99, because he rejected that offer. I offered 129.99, and he immediately...- blazin_it_alwyz

ONCE AND FOR ALL. Is the iMod the definitive DAP for audiophiles?
I think we all know by now that a 4th or 5/5.5th Generation iMod'd iPod is one of the best products out there on the market. I have heard rave reviews from anyone who has owned one. But I have never heard a DEFINITIVE answer. Is the iMod the definitive DAP for audiophiles? I have been...- blazin_it_alwyz

iMod 4G vs. Zune
Yeah you guys are being a little harsh. The way that the review came off to me, is as follows. On a scale from 1 to 1000, A regular iPod is about a 42/1000. A Zune is like 60/1000. But an iMod is like 780/1000. Basically, yeah the Zune might sound a little better than the iPod, but they are...- blazin_it_alwyz

utter complete newb to amps
Ok. I have basically put in more than 50+ hours studying this stuff. I think it's safe to say that I have came a long way from just 2 days ago, from thinking a pair of these has awesome audio I'd pretty much say in 2 days I went from geek to chik. This is what I'm going to end up...- blazin_it_alwyz
