New Super.Fi 5 Pros... Burn In Required? Best Approach?
Just a quick update on the burn in question. I have had the SF5Pros going for 72 hours now and have been listening at the end of each 24 hour period. I can definitely hear a difference as time goes on. The midrange is opening up and there seems to be more snap in the bass. These are really nice...- bfguilford

New Super.Fi 5 Pros... Burn In Required? Best Approach?
Hi: I just got my new Super.Fi 5 Pros and I'm wondering what you think would be the best approach to burning them in (if they do need to be burned in). Thanks.- bfguilford

Earphone solutions
I just got my Super.Fi 5 Pros from them and their service was great. They even beat the lowest price that I found by a couple of bucks (clicked on the web site link and they emailed back their offer within a day).- bfguilford

Opinions please: AKG 240s (hot 'n' sweaty) vs HD595
Had a listen to the AKG 240S yesterday and found a couple of things. First is that the mids and highs sound a little veiled. Some people have said that socket modding them should take care of that. OK. The bigger problem is that I found that after a very short time with them on, my ears were...- bfguilford

Advice Please: Canalphones (Super.Fi 5 Pro?) & Full Size Cans (AGK 240?) Budget=$350

Advice Please: Canalphones (Super.Fi 5 Pro?) & Full Size Cans (AGK 240?) Budget=$350
Thanks for confirming half of my decision. I just placed the order for the Super.fi 5 Pros. Still waiting for more input on the AKG 204s. I have about $100 left in my budget. Should I be considering other cans or go ahead with the AKGs?- bfguilford

This is a further clarification of an earlier post (that didn't get much response). Sorry I wasn't more specific the first time around. I do a fair bit of travelling (trains and planes). I've noticed that I need to crank the volume up on my KSC-75's too high for my own good (and, judging from...- bfguilford

Advice Wanted: Canalphones and Home Headphones
Well, here's another guy heading down the slippery slope at Head-Fi. Thanks to what I read here, I picked up a pair of KSC-75's for my iPod (and like them). However, I do a fair bit of travelling on trains and planes (got the automobiles part all figured out already ). I've noticed that I need...- bfguilford
