I liked the sound of the Marshall bluetooth speaker and think their headphones have one of the most satisfying sound signatures out there. I am using the "Mode EQ" in-ears at the moment and they are very nicely balanced. Definitely prominent in the bass department, but not in an exaggerated way...

There's not much risk of them getting stolen unless I forgot them somewhere. No mugger would ever believe headphones existed that cost that much. But I would rather not spend a lot of money unless they were special.   As far as the Etys, I tried the HF5 and didn't like them. Good detail but...

I actually paid $118 with my employee discount, but were talking retail here, not online wholesalers. I am definitely returning the 555s though and trying something different. I came across an interesting thread with a similar post by someone preferring the KSC-75s to the Sen 580s...

The Koss' sounds great, but you can tell the instruments and vocals aren't as defined as they could be. I have a feeling I am not going to find anything that sounds a lot better than the PP's at a reasonable price.

Overall, how would you describe the differences between the Koss and your broken-in Senn's?
