Did some quick googling. The difference is the color of the driver. The new one has a silver color inside compared to black inside the grill. I bought mine used so I'll have to take a look when I get home. Here's hoping for the best! :D

The 1/8 Connector on my Audio-Technica ATH-A900's snapped on me and now I'm looking for one to replace it. I would prefer to find one that is both golden and able to have 1/4 connectors screwed on like the stock one. Anyone know of a good one that fits the description?
