    IEM to replace broken um1s

Yeah, been seeing a lot of talk about the Jays now that I started looking around... Important question: will I hate the er6i because I miss my um1s? Also, how would the Jays stack up to the um1s?

    IEM to replace broken um1s

So I've been out of the scene for a while, switched to buying sneakers for a while My Um1s broke today, I'm very sad. I need to replace them with something good for sleeping with. Looking at ER6is, price is about right, but am afraid it's a downgrade. Anything pop onto the market recently that...

...and did anyone else notice the "Build your own" section on the new site? I wonder what's "coming soon"?

How big is a step up from the ksc75 to grado 60s?

So if you've already got the ksc75s, what is the next "wow" step? I'd like something with clear, crisp highs with the same oomph bass. Of course lush mids would be nice, too. And not too expensive Seriously, with all your collective experience, what would be the wisest next step?

    Sony MDR-Q66LW VS. KSC-35

Thanks for the quick response! The ATH-EM7s do look damn cool. However, like I said I own the Portapros and I really like them. I fear they have irreversibly made me into a Basshead and the ATHs are known to be bass lite. Also, you gotta love the wind-up concept on the Sonys, right?

    Sony MDR-Q66LW VS. KSC-35

OK, I know the KSC-35s are pretty much the best sounding clip out there (any better?). But see, I already have the Portapros. Also, I'll be listening to mostly audiobooks and NPR on these next set of cans. And the Sonys seem to have some terrific design features like the wind-up, cloth covered...
