    Home-Made IEMs

Yeah I can second that. I'm currently using ANSYS workbench with CFX/Fluent for a CFD project atm at university so I may look into using this. The one thing about the internal flow is I guess it can be modelled quite well in simply 2D due to the scale we're at with CIEMs. Good thing about this...

    Home-Made IEMs

Just wanna say I'm really impressed by all the work done here, it really is astonishing you guys should be proud. Started out just printing custom shells for my um30s but I'm quite intrigued by this hobby. I'm just posting because I need some guidance in some research I'm trying to do on CIEMs...

I'm going to be trying my hand at creating electrostatic transducers very soon too, I'm not sure yet whether to create a loudspeaker or a pair of headphones yet though. But I have a few quick questions, I know pretty much exactly how to assemble the transducers but I'm pretty clueless on how to...

    [REVIEW] Shure SE215

I have to say now that I'm on fourth pair of these, only one broke however, that they have definetly stood the test of time, I keep going back to these for travel.   But I must say the last pair I bought had actually showed me a stark difference in cable quality from the clear to the black...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Hi guys,  I've been wanting to buy another pair of IEM's for a while now. At the moment I use my Shure SE215''s the most, mainly because its very isolating and the ever so slightly emphasized bass overcomes the rumble of the bus so it's very good for that purpose. But I was hoping to buy...

DIY Dynamic UIEM[Follow Me on journey]

Quote: So you can buy UV lamp kits for curing acrylic nails. Now obviously these are intended for a different purpose but the principal is the same as they both emit UV radiation, admittedly your lamp is probably made to emit only the part of the spectrum responsible for curing and so will...

DIY Dynamic UIEM[Follow Me on journey]

Quote: aha , I'll just put away my wallet then :)   I'm sure there's other ways to obtain a uv source?   What makes your dental light work better than say an ordinary wide spectrum UV lamp?

Quote:   I have to say that is really cool, how much does the acrylic you're using to make this and the uv light cost?

Can I just ask how you know or will control how the driver will sound?   I want to try something like this too but I'm not sure where to get these drivers from and what they'll sound like, especially the balanced armatures from knowles.
