I'd say pop music is something similar to whatever everyone is listening to at the time. It doesn't have to be popular itself to fall into the pop category for me, it just has to sound like the current musical fad. I guess "trendy" would be a good synonym.

You will miss the full sized cans. IEMs and full sized headphones are very different experiences. While I love my E500s, their "in your head" presentation becomes extremely grating after any extended listening period.

Another one I just discovered Cold War Kids - Robbers and Cowards, very White Stripes-ish and very good.

Psapp - "The Only Thing I Ever Wanted" creates a wonderful and natural atmosphere for me. Check out track "upstairs" for some crazy soundstage effects too (binaural?).

Tom Vek - We Have Sound is definately a great album to listen to through my crappy car stereo system.
