I'm reeeally getting sick of what I've got and I'm finding it very hard to find more music I like in the genres that I have. I'll go ahead and list some of my fave bands to see if you all can help me out. Most of it is alt rock in some form with a bit of alt dance rock and trance.

Here we go:
Aberdeen City
Beck
Basshunter (<-- really like this one)
The Bravery
Bloc Party
Bright Light Fever
Cascada
Chemical Brothers
The Cinematics
The Editors
The Fratellis
Kaiser Chiefs
Kill Hannah
Louis XIV
Muse (<-- love them)
The Music
Rage Against the Machine
Ratatat
Rock Kills Kid
She Wants Revenge
Shiny Toy Guns
Spoon
The Strokes
We Are Scientists
White Stripes
Wolfmother

Yea so if any of you have the same taste as me - I've yet to meet anyone that's heard of half of those

Try P.O.S., Tom Vek, and Cold War Kids for sure I think you'll love them even though they're very different.

You might like Gomez, Fischerspooner, and Blonde Redhead too.

Oh, and Benni Benassi for some cheap synth action when no one is looking

70s? come on. You really think I'd gloss over that? :p Boston, Kansas, The Who, AC/DC, are definately some of my favorites. I forgot to mention the Cold War kids, I like them a lot.

I actually just got Hypnotica (Benassi) the other day and it's great. Does Ficsherspooner do the theme song for Nip Tuck? They sound very familiar. I'll have to check out those others too.

Klaxons are pretty good. I just got a couple of their songs from that album. Nice avatar btw h-man, the Pumpkins are playing in my town in a couple weeks! 7 shows actually - tickets sold out within 5 minutes and the servers crashed.

Try some of The Divine Comedy. Really unique stuff, maybe I'm From Barcelona, A Kid Hereafter, and American Analog Set. They might take some getting used to, but still great music to get into.
