So I need a USB based sound card that has hardware accelerated DDL or DTS connect encoding. I bought a Asus U7 but the DDL encoding is software based since the CPU spikes in usage while encoding. Anyone have any idea which sound card has optical SPDIF with DDL/DTSC that are hardware accelerated...

  I like low profile not to mention it does have a very good hardware build up resulting in a great note that a amp might spoil. I am not very sure what 40ohm will result in maybe lower sound or no difference at all only time will tell.

iphone does not have as good a SQ as the ipod touch has IMO. But its the best among the phones.

While the ipod's with their fancy samsung chips never sound as good as ipod's on wolfson DAP's. The fact of the matter is that with time and proper burn in of the players chips and the time for the IEM's/Headphones to adjust to the new audio source.

If the X series is similar in SQ than the other newer sony DAP then i would say the x1060 will be better because the P3 just does not cut it when you compare the SQ to Gen. 4/3 Sony players.

Is it only me that thinks the D2 has bass rolloff issues with IEM's?? This really irritates me but otherwise its quite a good player, you could also get the new Sony x series heard they go good with IEM's combo.
