Yet another gr07 version, apparently called Collector's Edition and released in a few hours for vsonic's 37th anniversary. It's yet another sale that probably none of us here will be able to get with the limited release and no international resellers offering the sales and deals offered in China. Personally, I would grab one right away if I had a chance even if only for the vsonic history and me being a big fan of the brand.

Those look great. Personally, I prefer the low-key look of the flat-black gr07.
It's a great visual contrast for the exciting sound they're capable of...

So these are the 37th anniversary GR07s? They have the same nano tube drivers as GR09?

Don't think so, especially given the price but maybe we\ll know soon. I think the ones with the gr09 drivers might be out in a few days as I remember something about July but I think their price was supposed to be a hundred bucks more.

You might be right actually. I'm kinda half contemplating whether to wait and try my chance in the coming days hoping it will come up from a reseller or try my chance now with a taobao agent. I would go for one right away if it wasn't for my past experience from few years back when I pre-ordered the vsonic vc02 and got it more than 2 months later in a torn box and pretty much everyone had already gotten one from lmue a month earlier than me.
I kinda miss the good old days when LMUE was providing close to Chinese MSRP prices and pre-order deals at the same time as they were going in China. Nowadays we do still get solid customer support and care from lmue and penon but at 15-20% higher price and no more pre-order deals.

Well, couldn't sleep last night and given Vsonic's CEO posts that it's the best gr07 and second in sound only to gr09 and it does come with the cnt drivers, I couldn't resist and ordered one. I hope I'll receive it eventually

Sure, but that's a limited edition gr07 collector's edition with gr09 drivers and higher in the chain than gr07x.You are not a vsonic fan if you don't at least try to obtain one
