Obscure Chinese DAPs

Not really a big deal for me. Anything else that you disliked or really liked besides the sq and battery life?
The scroll wheel can be a little finicky, like 1 click on the wheel sometimes jumps 2 lines in the menu.

That has happened to me on non wheel DAP. I owned a ipod once and never had a problem with the wheel but the sq was horrible. Too bad I didn't know about rockbox back then. I would have not sold It. So far I'm liking what I hearing from you. With BT adapter this will be a cool AZ player.

Still a couple weeks away I'm afraid. The new site platform interfered with my review schedule and now I have a backlog of stuff to get done.

20170515_143411.jpg I purchased a Xunsound XS01 and was surprised to see the size of the player. I was expecting it to be similar to Hisoundaudio Studio in size, but clearly I was wrong and it's almost same size as Fiio X1 (1st Gen).

Thanks, First impression (please take this with a grain of salt :)) - I think SQ is much better than X1, less warmer with more resolution. The firmware is very similar to HSA Studio players, but here you have 2 additional buttons - Back and Home , which is helpful. As far as I can see there is no dedicated line out, but there are two headphone slots with varying power. It support's OPAMP rolling and mine came with OPA627AP installed.

Power handling capability: PO_OUT: 300mwX2 LO_OUT: 130mwX2

Here I guess what they meant by PO_OUT is Power ouput and LO_OUT is Low power output. Both are volume controlled (30 Steps).

Man alot of options to change the Sound. Line out and Head(phone) out is correct. Reminds me of a bigger clip+. Enjoy the Xunsound to the fullest.

That was my guess as well, But when I plugged in my IEM to the PO_OUT, it was so loud even at volume level 5. Then tried the LO_OUT with the same IEM and had to dial upto 15 to get the desired volume. The volume gained on each step is much lower in PO_OUT. As given in the Product Page (Penon Audio)

That's right. I have purchased OPA604AP as well. Have to try them sometime later this week. If anyone here knows other compatible opamps with the above, please let me know. This would be my first time trying something like this.
