New Hidizs AP200 double DAC Android-based smart music player

That would be nice, but would likely push back the launch date. I agree that 1 GB is marginal for an Android DAP, but it seems to be the standard.
Looks like this is the one I had been waiting for if it has a airy treble like other sabre dacs I had listened to previously. If it sounds good or better than a hifimediy 9018 dac.. I am already sold.

@Hidizs Hk
Does the AP200 support Hiby link ? If it doesn't at launch, is there any possibility that it would it support it in the future? That should solve some of the problems one might encounter with "only 3 physical buttons".
Yes, it will support Hiby link. Support Hiby link is very easy to achieve.
Ans it's an Android music player. 3 physical buttons are OK.
Our software development team can realize many quick-operating functions by the 3 physical buttons.

@Hidizs Hk

I pre-ordered the AP200 at Kickstarter and while I wait for it, I have a question.
Is it possible to operate the player with fitness trackers or other bluetootn devices?
I mean switching tracks etc
If yes, which ones?

You might be able to install something to do that, depending on how locked or unlocked the firmware will be .

I assume if it works on Android it "should" work with the AP200, as it running android. If it requires data you'll need WiFi availability as there's no cellular data. Aside from that I don't see why not (of course there could be exceptions).

The firmware is unlocked. You can install 3rd party APP on it.

Okay, that is great news because it means a lot more potential to the device in the long run! :darthsmile:

Hope you're planning to send us (Audiophile Heaven) a test sample when you're closer to the final release since you made us curious.

If you can, making all third party apps use the dedicated DAC chip would be great.

Any idea if the newly announced models (ie the 128) will be ready at the same time as the 32 gig? Getting more interested in this player!
