Wait, so the plugs have pins protruding outward ? What if careless/mindless people unplug the headphones but keeping the cables plugged into the amp.....then touching the bias pins ? Gotta be fun. Only 550-580V tickles
The plugs area screwed on and there are no exposed pins when detached. Good grief. You're more likely to get a shock if you plug or unplug the headphone with a live amp, but the output impedance are high which is why so far nobody has died using a headphone. That is actually one reason I dislike the Stax plug, it's a poor design.
