My first try was to transfer a wav file, 44KHz / 16bit, that I had on my computer, to the internal memory.

What I don't know is if the Benjie converts it to MP3. I guess it does, doesn't it?

Wow, so another China DAP brand that I happen to find on English forum instead of Chinese. Just did a bit of research and it is still not very well known in Mainland China(at least on taobao) and I have never seen this in Hong Kong. Products look interesting despite no detailed spec provided on any website. Really looking forward to the T8 or whatever higher end models coming out.

Thinking about getting another Benjie, after I got the S5 (and it's "cousin" the AGPTek M20), the C1, the N9000, the M21 (?, that tiny one) and the T1 (that one I regret!)

I already have the K3 on the way, looks match my phone ... I keep pondering about K9 or X1 .. somehow I am not very enthused about either .. I find myself wanting another S5 (mine died I guess some battery related death, but I still have the AGP M20) ... sooo .. and now I read here about the T6 ... not that I really need BT ...

I would really love to see some size comparisons, if ppl could post. Especially S5 to T6 (but also K9 and X1) ... like what I did last year ..

they are different. the benjie sounds brighter, has a bit less of sub-bass, but it's tighter, faster to my ears. it's also down to matching the components: i prefer the benjie to my brother's iphone with rock zircons, but i'd pick the phone for my fostex te02n. benjie probably has more power, it can get unbearably loud with my iem's.
