Yeah, I know he's been with KC for a bit. But, try as I might, I can't really get into KC. It's probably due to the same gene that doesn't let me enjoy SW solo stuff. lol
To my ears the Atticus is for when you want a smooth, warm, relaxing sound. The Eikon is more neutral but still very musical and never harsh or strident. Or if you prefer a food analogy: Atticus = comfort food, Eikon = fine dining. Both are good, but for different reasons.
Edit: that dude is so polyrythmic it is almost incomprehensible. Combine that with speed, power, finese, nuance and an indefinable character that never stops moving without over-playing and the guy is beyond sick, orders of magnitude sick. He can also play jazz or whatever style, but I don't think there are many jazz drummers that could bang out some of his work.
For a second there, I thought you meant Lord Marco of such bands as Six Feet Under, Anomalous, Brain Drill, etc... Google proved otherwise. Well, Lord Marco is still one of my favorites, and Gavin is incredible. I bought his weird jazz cover album of PT songs. Can't really listen to it. Just too weird. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJCPiNby-DY

That would be putting it mildly! The ZMFs sound good with pretty much all of the Ampsandsound amplifiers, in my experience. I definitely had a "moment" with the Agartha last night though! The music was flowing!
