Would welcome any advise on these amps for the HD800. Is the WA6 (2nd gen) sufficient or does it really need to be the SE?

Hoping somebody can give me some technical advise for my HDVA600. I have just purchased a Bryston BCD-3 CD player and plan to connect it directly to my HDVA600 using the balanced XLR output of the player which is rated at 4.0vrms. Would this be too much for the Senn amp which is <14dbv for XLR...

Having not owned Audio Technica headphones (currently have a Stax 4170 system) I wondered what the sound is like. The W3000 looks gorgeous but does it sound as good as it looks?
