Yesterday I got to soldering and made some XLR to Banana cables (single ended based on what Rob Watts suggested) using some Duelund 16Ga tinned copper wire, and hooked up a cheap open box pair of Klipsch RP-600M speakers to my TT2 and wow I have to say I'm impressed without any break-in!

Can anyone who has tried this setup comment on how it works with the open headphones? Do you get any sort of feedback from the mic picking up sound from the headphones?

Why would the XLR outputs on the back be stronger output wise than the RCA, and assuming the speakers didn’t need the extra power would one sound better than the other?
