Relatively new to the whole watch scene, here is one of my 2 primary watches.  =)      

if you've had any experience working at a bulge bracket bank, you'd know they're filled with A TON of EXTREMELY attractive people (men and women).  she's not the second coming of heidi klum; there's no way she was fired for being "too hot"

hmm, i've read back a few pages and saw a short discussion of the lambda pros and their midrange suckout? how huge of a difference does bias play? like the difference between an amped and unamped grado 225?

Hi I'm pretty new to the world of Stax, but I'm pretty sure I'll get something in the lambda family. Can anyone enlighten me as to the differences between the lambda, lambda pro, and the lambda signature? Is there a huge difference if I hooked up a lambda pro/signature to a normal bias adapter...

Once you move up, you'll also need a DAC/amp. For under $350, get the SR225's and something like the Zero DAC/amp. The jump will be fairly big.

sorry for the noob question, but do either the srd-7 or srd-7/sb accept banana plugs or does one have to use bare speaker wire?

I'm interested in possibly dabbing into Stax, but... How much power can Stax take? My amp is 150wpc (8ohms) / 250wpc (4ohms) and I'm concerned that it might be wayyy too much. My other option is my Zero, but would that be enough?

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll probably end up with a 2nd Zero after the new model comes out in a month, but just for future reference, what tube amps might you guys suggest for the MS2i, even if it falls a little out of my price range? The Millet Hybrid or LD seems interesting.

My budget is less than the cost of the MS2i's, which means $300 or less. I've never actually tried tubes before (I need to go to one of those meets...) and would certainly be open to them, but I feel they may be out of my price range. I do like the Zero as I feel it does a pretty good job...
