You can buy new eartips online, if it's the tip that is the problem and not the nozzle. Look up JVC spiraldots or spinfits.

Well I need to give mine a good test. It's dropping about 8-9% every 2 hours just sitting powered on idle. Don't know how much of that is battery being burned up vs. just displayed funny by the OS.

yeah, I take frequent long hiatuses from head-fi for this reason. 1/3 of the IEMs i try set off my tinnitus and TMJ and set my ears to ringing for the next few weeks to several months. When i find something i like the sound of I just lurk for a year or two...

I'm getting the weirdest thing, it's losing battery life just sitting powered on but idle. No music playing. from 100 to 91% sitting on my desk while i was out at the gym for 2 hours.   Might have to do a factory reset and re-update it or something. I don't recall this kind of idle battery...

You would use TRRS 2.5mm with a balanced source (if i'm reading the product description correctly.) It comes with an adapter, which has some added bulk. Unless you're planning on getting a source that does 2.5mm balanced output like the onkyo dp-x1 it may not be useful.
