Dynamic IEM for Hiphop Music
I've been using an IEM called Denon AH-C551 for years now. I used the Triple Fi's for a while, but didn't really like the sound and fit. Looking for recommendations of an IEM with these specifications: Dynamic Driver Small Size (around the size of monster turbines or...- Yoloni

Is it possible to use SD cards in the iPod Mini? I know you could put cf cards in, but if I use a cf to sd converter, will the iPod recognize it?- Yoloni

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Quote: How did you make your cables' pin look like that!? I made my own cable, and did a pretty bad looking job on making that pin that connects to the actual 10pro's. Anyway, nice cables.- Yoloni

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Bad soldering made my cable's right sound lower than the left. And I completely covered and burnt my plug with my bad soldering skills. I think the Neutrick one's are the best. I used the silver REAN branded gold-plated straight plug. The Oyaide one's are really popular in Japan...- Yoloni

Ultimate Ears’ Triple.fi 10 Pro vs. ?
Yeah, it might be hard to find one NEW. But the TF-10's sound is probably not what you're looking for... It's on the bassy side although I don't think so.- Yoloni

Ultimate Ears’ Triple.fi 10 Pro vs. ?
The ATH-CK10's seem like a good IEM for you. Try to find one in these forums. TF-10's are real easy to come by on these forums for under $150. I got one for $145 with international shipping included :) You can buy new cables, or make them on your own. I managed to make one on my own...- Yoloni

Satisfying iPod Setup
Did those portable amps give you better sound? I tried using EQu, but I've never messed with EQ settings before, so I don't really know how to get the right sound. (Sometimes I'm able to tune it to my preference, but it's different for each genre of music...) Do you know any guides...- Yoloni

Satisfying iPod Setup
I've bought the best IEM's I could manage to buy with my money: the TF-10's. I'm using the IEM's with my 4th gen iPod touch 32GB with a growing library of Apple Lossless music. I was wondering if a Portable Amp through a LOD would be worth the money. Will it give me another 'wow'...- Yoloni

what kind of sounding iems are perfect for me?
The IEMs you've chosen are relatively flat earphones. I listen to the same kind of hip-hop music as you, and I must admit, that I was hesitated of the sound when I got Etymotic ER-6 (which are another flat sounding IEM). I own TF-10's right now, and I am pretty satisfied with the overall...- Yoloni

Best IEM for $400 max (House, trance, Chill, Nujazz, Hiphop)
You listen to the same kind of songs as me. I'm looking for earphones that suits my genres also. Bought the TF-10's, but they just don't cut it. The bass is probably too light for your preference. I'm looking to buy the IE8 or Monster Turbine Pro Golds.- Yoloni

If it fits well to you then I think you're alright. I never got a seal with the stock tips on my right ear, so I got the Sony Hybrid XS size tips. Plus, the flip mod really helped me have a good fit.- Yoloni

Just Upgraded from UE Superfi 5 Pro to Shure SE535................ Thoughts............
Hey, you started with the same IEM as me, the Denon AH-C551! I know how you feel. I think I had the exact same feeling as you when I got those. It was 100% better than my Apple earbuds. I've bought a Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3's a few months after I got the Denon's, and sad to say, I never...- Yoloni

Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 vs Senn IE8
I have the UE Triple.fi 10 Pro's right now, and I was just thinking about switching to the IE8 since I never got fond of the BA sound. I never liked the Westone 3's and Shure SE535's because they just sound too neutral to me. But overall, the Triple.fi's are so cheap compared to the...- Yoloni
