If you can get a good seal with biflange, that is wonderful. I cannot, I think my ears are too big.. LOL

Comfy is important, but if portables are not foldable, for me, they are not very portable. (Meaning they are a pain to pack and carry while traveling in a commercial carrier)     Gawain

I use Comply T-400.. but be careful. When removing the comply to replace it, (they fit snuggly) I pulled the earpiece apart destroying my HJE900s. Luckily Panasonic replaced them with reconditioned ones right before they ran out. I wish they would begin manufacturing these again.   Gawain

It is my opinion that Panasonic had to stop making RP-HJE900s because the magic was running low!   These earphones just blow me away.  I suppose you could find better sounding earphones if you spent the big bucks.... BUT... does anyone think they have heard music to rival the HJEs for $200...

  Be forewarned. I use Comply Foam tips on my CZs. I was changing an old tip and I pulled the unit apart in my hands. Wires were exposed and the unit was in two pieces. It took me a couple months, many phone calls and aggravation to get Panasonic to replace my CZ. I would expect chances now...

I haven't found anything that doesn't sound better on my HJE900s. I listen to a lot of variable bit rate audio from my rhapsody to go subscription and it all sounds awesome. Cowon D2....... just hope you don't have to send it back for repairs... although Cowon will treat you right if you have to....
