The Beyerdynamic Byron Series (IFA 2016)
I had a distinct mechanical click in my Byron BT left ear-bud. The store I bought from decided it didn't exist and after some to-and-fro, they just refunded me the price after my expense in mailing them for RMA. I did like the sound prior.- mickeydean

So I just got the Sony MDR 1000x
Interesting. I wonder if they've changed anything with the new model in terms of sound profile. It seems unlikely though. Just a better battery.- mickeydean

Sony MDR-1000X
My only issues with the Sonys are: 1. bluetooth device connectivity (Bose allowing 2 devices to be connected simultaneously was great) 2. bluetooth range (I find it to be 5m or so before it cuts out without a wall) 3. battery (4hrs charging and 20 hours listening is not ideal) 4. cheap...- mickeydean

Sony MDR-1000X
I still have both the QC35's and the MDR-1000x. Aside from the fact that QC35's are a bit lighter and the simultaneous connection with two devices - and autoconnect with previously paired iPhone. The Sonys sound way better to me. The NC is better on the QC35's but the sound on the Bose...- mickeydean

Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
I thought this would be the case but what I found was that the Bose QC35 was worse than the JLab Epic 2 (which more than likely has smaller antennae). They cut out less than 4-5m away with some thin walls in between with a Macbook Pro as the source. The sound quality for the Bose is...- mickeydean

Sony MDR-1000X
If you ignore personal financial situations and just consider function (sounds, connectivity, and NC ability) would the above reviewers rate the Sony MDR-1000's as being worth the premium (if they're $699 AUD compared to $499 AUD for the Bose QC35s) over the Bose QC35?- mickeydean

Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
Which wired headphones, in terms of sound quality, are the QC35's most comparable to? ANC would be a nice bonus but not a must. I am looking for a pair of good sound quality (M50x or better), good wireless connection, good battery, and good build quality and comfort.- mickeydean

Wireless over-ear headphones
Looking for over-ear bluetooth/wireless headphones with sound quality similar to the $180 AT M50x's. So I figure $400 give or take is a fair price. The list are (trusted retailers in Aus so protected with consumer warranty yada yada yada): Pendulumic Stance S1+ $329 (worried about warranty...- mickeydean
