In the end I got it from the local distributor due to territorial distributorship rights. My online order from CL was cancelled. When I first got it, there was no bass, soundstage very very narrow and congested. After 100+ hours of burn in, soundstage opened up and bass is now significantly...- delrosa81

Thanks for the compliments. The foam that comes with the pelican case is pick n pluck, so you just put the Hugo on top of the foam and count the number of cubes you need to pluck off to form the shape of the object you are intending to put. No need for knives or cutters of any sort, its that...- delrosa81

Hmm strange, it might be because our Shure's have different sensitivity or our hearing is hugely different. I am never able to go to Red as it would be near bursting the drivers in my opinion. Its very very loud and its near to red and not entirely red yet. For me there is minimal to no hiss...- delrosa81

Yeah I do think that sometimes too, especially when Im on the plane lol. I usually keep my Hugo in the safe when Im overseas in hotels when I go out carrying just my AK240 lol. Frankly only for those in the know will they realise the value of such rigs, else to the person who is not into such...- delrosa81

Strangely I don really notice any hiss from my SE846 but when Im using the NAD HP50 and the volume is cranked up to green or turqoise colour, only on some songs then I hear the hiss and its very minimal IMHO. For the SE846, I do not hear any hiss at all as volume is in the pink range and I...- delrosa81

I like the black version too and eagerly waiting for details of it to be released. I wonder will the black version be a limited region release only or world wide? If so, I would hope to order it directly from Chord UK direct.- delrosa81

I think some of you guys know me, I got some amps, daps and stuff recently, changing and changing, trying out this and that. In the end I got some cables over the weekend and I found the Hugo to be exceptionally versatile. I watch movies alot on both my iPad Air and the Galaxy Note 10.1 and I...- delrosa81
