DIY your own Theme for your lovely X3
Awesome theme! Now my X3 is rockin' with 3.3! Thanks so much and Merry Christmas! -

Well if no one else will say it, I will. You should not be messing around with any gadgets while you're driving. Distracted driving is not only dangerous for you and your passengers but everyone else on the road. Plus it's illegal in lots of states. Thousands of people needlessly die each year...- Onchiman

No freezes here! I use flac files mostly. I did have freezes as you describe back on version 2.1 occasionally. Nothing so far on 3.0.- Onchiman

How to open a fiio E12?
Anyone got the trick to opening up the fiio E12? I am trying to replace the battery. I've removed the two screws and back cover and assume the board slides out through the front but the bass boost switch is preventing this because it protrudes through the housing. Any trick to this or does the...- Onchiman

Ha Ha! You got that right! Ha Ha! Boy isn't that the truth! Thanks for the theme. I like it better than the stock one which is half icons and half list. -

The font looks a little different. Did you use a different one? Maybe that has something to do with it? -

The 3.0 stock firmware is properly centered so I'm not sure what could be causing it. -

Mr. Trev. Just now trying it out and it looks real nice. One thing i notice it that the text in the "title bar" on the top seems not to be centered. It's a little too far to the right and sometimes pushes into the icons there. could it be moved left/centered a little bit? -

I have to agree that the X3 with 3.0 firmware is a pretty phenomenal player. I don't need anything more and won't be looking for anything else. I bought it for only one purpose, to enjoy listening to music on and boy am I enjoying it! I am truly amazed.- Onchiman

I'm not noticing any difference in sound from 2.14b to 3.0. I did notice the difference between 2.1 and 2.14b though. I just did a comparison switching between the 3.0 and 2.14b and both sound great to me. If you're happy with 2.14b stick with it. I'm pleased with 3.0.- Onchiman

One last thing you could try is to press and hold both the power and menu buttons at the same time for a few seconds. That is how you would put it into update mode. If nothing happens then I'd say it's a hardware failure. Return or exchange would be in order.- Onchiman

Yes. It is a known issue with 2.14 beta. Unplugging the headphone and then re-plugging it sometimes get's it unstuck as well as resetting it as you've done.- Onchiman

Do you have any other way to try and charge it other than your computer? If not, then charging by computer might take a few hours. I'd try leaving it to charge for a while and see if that solves it. If not then we must delve deeper.- Onchiman
