You were right. Got the Ikko OH10 and hated the upper-mid shout. My CRA upgrade now is using EQ to fix the treble, lol. Just ordered another pair.

What would you recommend as an upgrade pick for the CCA CRA. Love the overall sound signature and comfort. I would want smoother treble and better technicalities (including soundstage and imaging). I was looking at IKKO OH10, Fiio FH3, and FD5. What you think?

Yeah stock pads are not comfortable at all. TH610 stock pads are slightly larger ear opening than X00/EMU but should retain same sound. Best third party I've found so far is these + home made attenuation discs. Not perfect sound though...

EMUs use same pads as TH-X00 (worse than th-610) so I am still stuck in the pad conundrum. Although EMU is prob best bang for buck these days.

I actually made home made rings and it sounds amazing. without rings is too bass light for my taste.
