Along with my DX50, I can bring my new Philips Fidelio X1s if any one is interested.   And I sold my Beyer DT770s so those can be removed from my bring list.

  I play all MMOs in borderless windowed mode, so when I alt tab to whatever else I'm doing, it stays on the screen so I can still see what's going on.  If I have to wait for something/some one in the game, I just alt tab and do whatever till I notice they are ready. 

Multiple monitors will serve people differently.  I my desktop computer when I'm home I have 3 monitors.  I play a lot of different kinds of games, but when playing an MMORPG whatever it may be, I'll have the game up on my middle monitor, netflix/videos up on the right one, and chat/internet...

If you go with something like a Xonar/computer soundcard ( which usually has Dolby surround) the consensus I've got hanging out around here is the sound will not be near as good for music as with other dedicated DAC options.    However (i don't know how well it works) I know Razer has software...

Looking at those you should also look at the C&C BH2 which is approx $100 on amazon.

Are you going to want to use dolby surround sound when gaming?

I bought mine when 1.2.6 was the current, and I haven't had any notable bugs since 1.2.8.  Great player, definitely worth it.

That's weird.  I didn't have any of the problems you are having with my DX50.  Hopefully you figure out what the problem is.  A card reader will make transfers faster most likely.

I would imagine you would want neutral headphones when mixing/mastering recording music.  DT770s are anything but neutral.  I have some, and enjoy them very much., but I would never use them to mix/master any recordings.

I have ordered 2 or 3 times with MP4, and everything went smoothly.  Hopefully you get it going.

I will probably never switch from Win 7 to Windows 8.  While I don't hate Windows 8 like some people do.  I can't find a single reason to switch.  Windows 7 is pretty perfect, and all windows 8 does is annoy me sometimes.

I currently use the C&C BH2 with the DX50 and they sound great together.  I have been considering upgrading my amp.  Wasn't sure what to go with.  I may decide to try out the DX90.

I'll be attending.   Looks like there are plenty of people bringing a DX50, however I will bring mine anyways.  Currently with 1.2.8.    Nothing fancy but I'll bring along my DT770 Pro 250s, and my Grado SR60i's.

Hmmm can't decide if it's worth it to sell my DX50, and get a DX90.  I'll have to hope I can try it out somewhere before I make a decision.
