Mac OS X Music Players - alternatives to iTunes
I'm not sure that I really like J River. If I go with the conversion route, is there a way to bulk convert all flacs without having to sort through all my folders?- everybest

Mac OS X Music Players - alternatives to iTunes
My bad, I neglected to mention that. I have over 30k tracks and some music I have FLAC only. I don't care what format it is on my phone but I would like to be able to sync those tracks as well. From what I can tell, J River converts the FLAC files to ALAC (or some other format) on the...- everybest

Mac OS X Music Players - alternatives to iTunes
Thanks, I'll try that. A+ = Audirvana Plus? The integration allows me to import flac into my library? And can I sync them on the fly? Sorry about all the questions. Still new to mac and trying to figure everything out.- everybest

Mac OS X Music Players - alternatives to iTunes
Will Audirvana sync playlists with my iPhone? If not, what program would you recommend that could do this? So far I've only come across J River Media Center and Media Monkey.- everybest

The AKG K712 Pro Support and Impressions Thread
I don't frequent here too much but the last 50 pages or so have really helped me out in deciding whether to purchase the K712 or not. I'm thinking about this purchase as an upgrade, so I'll be selling my K702s to help buffer the cost. The K712s came in today and I need to spend more time...- everybest

Looking for a decent sound card
Thanks, if it's in the task bar, that's okay. I would just worried I'd have to open up a program everytime I wanted to switch. The D1 is in my budget and looks like a good option as well. I will have to take a closer look into both but starting to lean towards the external dac. Thanks...- everybest

Looking for a decent sound card
Thanks, I will look into the STX. Can the sound be active on both outputs for this card or is it possible to automatically disable one when I plug in headphones? Just worried I'd be a hassle to switch outputs every time I want to use my headphones, but it's probably something I can deal with.- everybest

Looking for a decent sound card
My motherboard's onboard soundcard has intermittent sound issues and rather than reformatting in an attempt to debug the issue, I'm interested in purchasing a standalone sound card. Looking for a decent one for $100-125 to power my stereo speakers (don't need 5.1). If there are any with...- everybest

What am I missing?
In terms of buying new equipment for my headphones I am fairly new to this. I have a AKG K702 that sounds mediocre out directly out of the PC. The sound is coming directly from an Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe motherboard. I have a roughly $200-400 budget, would the O2+ODAC be a good...- everybest

Mp3 player with bluetooth compatibility?
I've had Sony MP3 players in the past and while it was fine, the proprietary cables were a pain in the ass as dealing with playlists. I caved and picked up a iPod Nano and it works pretty well. I hate iTunes, but found that I was able to sync and manage music and playlists through my...- everybest

New camera
I picked up a Sony RX100 recently and it's pretty amazing. For sure beats out my other compact cameras that I've played with, Panasonic LX3 and Canon S95. Perhaps a bit more than your budget but I'd consider it. The mirrorless - interchangable lens systems are "compact" but not really...- everybest
